Job Title: Digital Sales Manager

Have you ever been involved in three texting conversations at the same time? Are you always updating your Facebook status or Tweeting, even when you are just having dinner? Do you have so many aps on your phone you have forgotten about how cool some of them are? Do you know the next hot thing, and are shocked that everyone else may not have discovered it? Cox Media Group – Radio Louisville (WVEZ, WSFR, WQNU, WRKA) is looking for a dynamic, technically savvy individual who is an effective leader, self motivated and flexible. The role requires an innovator, a trendsetter, a progressive thinker who can connect digital to all other aspects of a client business and drive growth opportunities. The Digital Sales Manager creates ideas that bridge web, social media, radio, and events to provide marketing solutions for advertisers. This person must have a love of the new, a passion for digital trends, an understanding of consumers and brands, and must have the ability to sell new and existing digital concepts. This job has not yet been invented yet, and the ideal candidate will participate in creating the future – ours and yours!

Can You Sell?
• Initiate ideas for advertisers and assist in selling them with Account Executives
• Develop an independent account list including interactive agencies and accounts to grow digital revenue
• Brainstorm ideas for digital features to increase online and business development sales opportunities and custom programs based on client needs
• Create strong business relationships
• Assist with targeting, negotiating and closing deals.
• Effectively prospecting for the digital platform

Can You Lead?
• Train and develop all Account Executives and Managers in digital sales
• Create strong business relationships
• develop a sense of team with the Account Executives
• Work closely with the sales management team to achieve overall goals

Can You Manage?
• Managing inventory, pricing, creating solutions
• Manage all Digital Business Development sales incentive programs
• Manage special projects from start to finish as they arise
• Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organization and time-management skills
• Update digital rate card

Are you Creative?
• Create mock-up presentations and other sales materials for digital sales efforts and business development initiatives
• Develop the selling materials and pricing for the stations’ interactive products and business development initiatives
• Initiate ideas for advertisers and assist in selling them with Account Executives

Qualifications:
College degree with a minimum three years internet sales experience and at least one year broadcast experience preferred (but not necessary). Must have a proven track record of leadership ability, creative skills, experience with interactive media and multi media platforms, as well as interpersonal skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Job Title: Director of Customer Development

Are you the person who is always making the plans for the party, from researching which restaurant and movie to go to, to making sure everyone has all the details about the evening, to worrying that everyone is having a great time? Do you like helping people solve their problems, and take pride in watching them hit their goals and grow? Can you text while you are talking on the phone while someone else is handing you something to look at RIGHT NOW? If this sounds like you, you may be the right person for our newly-created Director of Customer Marketing Services for Cox Radio Louisville. We need someone who is energetic, can multitask, who loves to solve problems , and is full of great ideas; but who is also detail-oriented and likes to do research to find the best solutions.

This position will report to the General Sales Manager, and will oversee Key Account New Business program for WVEZ, WSFR, WQNU and WRKA, Louisville, including but not limited to:

* Facilitate brainstorming meetings
* Set up plan of action for each Account Manager and each target account
* Sales calls with Account Managers on new business calls
* Work with Account Managers on new business proposals and copy
* Research new business categories and accounts
* Come up with new ideas and ways of generating new business revenue
